Production

Kaolin calcined (chamotte) in bulk

The kaolin of Murzentsy deposit is used for production. The chemical and mineralogical characteristics of kaolin of Murzentsy deposit are stable. That is the reason of very stable characteristics of VKV kaolin calcined. The Al2O3 content is 38-44% but the iron oxide content is low. The material is intended for use in manufacture of refractory concrete, mass and products.
The characteristics of kaolin calcined are in accordance with ÒÓ Ó 14.2.00191916-001:2005 and are defined according to the following standards:
- The methods of samples selection and preparation are in accordance with ÃÎÑÒ 26565-85
- The general requirements to analysis methods are in accordance with ÃÎÑÒ 2642.0-86
- Samples testing methods of delivered materials are accepted in accordance with the following regulating documentation:

• determination of Al2O3 content is according to ÄÑÒÓ 3305.4-96 (ÃÎÑÒ 2642.4-86)
• determination of Fe2O3 content is according to ÄÑÒÓ 3305.5-96 (ÃÎÑÒ 2642. 5-86)
• determination of water absorption, bulk density and apparent porosity of kaolin calcined for particle size 2-5,6 mm is according to ÃÎÑÒ 18847-84
• determination of humidity is according to ÃÎÑÒ 28584-90
• determination of refractoriness is according to ÃÎÑÒ 4069-69
• determination of grain composition is according to ÃÎÑÒ 27707-88

The material is delivered in bulk. Deliveries are carried out by railway, automobile and sea transport.
